Gary was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and has resided in BC since 1969. He has been involved in funeral service since 1980 and graduated from the BC Funeral Service Apprenticeship Program in 1982. He started with Bowers Funeral Service in Salmon Arm in 1984 and has been involved in the operation of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home since that time. In 1990, Gary, along with his partners, Jack Bowers and Kevin Bolen bought out the existing business and buildings from the Brandon family and have been operating the business under the Brandon Bowers name ever since. Gary’s hobbies include scuba diving, gardening and his motorcycle. He lives in Revelstoke with his wife, Chrissie and they have three grown children, three grandsons and two granddaughters.
Chrissie was born and raised in Revelstoke and has been involved in the funeral home since 1990. Chrissie enjoys an active lifestyle and her hobbies include knitting, gardening, walking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Krista was born in Stratford, Ontario, and moved to BC in 1995. She has called Revelstoke home since 2002 and has two children, a dog and three cats.
